Hi I am getting back in the swing of things. My old laptop computer died so I was without internet access for some time. Finally I grabbed the trusty credit card and went shopping at my favorite refurbished computer place, Tech Corps in Racine Wisconsin. I was able to get a nice deskktop Dell with a huge screen and a wide format printer for a good deal. I don't have the portability I had before but the size and speed is amazing. I have been getting used to it and loading all my stuff on it. The screen holds almost two full pages side by side. It's great for my bad eyes too. I am working on learning how to manipulate photos and will soon have all my beautiful stamping work on here for you to see. I am in full swing planning our upcoming Card Buffet and Stamp Camp.

The new catalog is on its way and it's sensational. Can't wait to share it with all of you. Better start saving your sheckles now - you will want everything. We have new double sided papers, gorgeous stamps, Copic marker sets that are color coordinated with paper packs and much, much more! The other Angels who designed the samples in it outdid themselves and we will all be inspired.

Scrapbooking Changes Things

I have noticed that the box keeps getting fuller. Things I would never have thought of saving to put on a scrapbook page now come leaping out at me as I sort through my mother's stuff. She passed away this past summer and it is my privilege to live in her house for a while and go through her things. Memorabilia pops up everywhere: old newspapers of a winter storm, church bulletins, postcards and much more. I have checked on line for prices of deacidification spray to stop the further deterioration of these items. It is a product TAC does not carry but one I am in need of.

Being around the grandchildren makes me realize I have changed in the type of photographs I take of them as compared to when my children were little. Situations make me say “oh that would make a good page” and the photo is taken.

Scrapbooking makes me carry a small notebook in my purse to write down the darling things the children say and do. I find this Scrapbooking Journal to be a great help when making a page.

Where are the Pictures?

Somewhere over the Rainbow! Really - I am getting there. There is a lot of work going on at this computer as I learn all the ins and outs of blog set up. I am spending many days working on this site, especially while I am sick and don't have the oomph to do anything but sit and work at the computer.

This gettin' up there in age, Grandma is still learning how to use her digital camera and upload and edit photos and scans. If you can believe that.

And top of everything, my printer with the color scanner disappeared off this computer when I was fooling around AND the box is still packed and unlocate-able with the disk in it to reinstall. Go figure!

In the meantime you will have to settle for my prose and read the pages I have written. You can also just click away on the links I have provided in the right hand column and you will find lots of photos of cards, pages and other projects. There are three good sites to try - The Angel Company, Paper Wings and The Angel Company Community.
